Our Business Journey

We are a small firm based in Tamworth servicing all areas of North West NSW.

Managing directors, Jason & Steve, have over 45 years combined experience, with a wealth of knowledge to handle all your taxation & accounting needs.

We have built relationships that span generations as we help our clients navigate the business life cycle with systems and expert advice they can trust.

The Partners

Jason Cannon


Jason became Principal of HPC Accounting Pty Ltd in April 2011 and has steadily grown his practice. It wasn't until merging with Steve Cohen in December 2015 that things really started to take off into what it is today. Jason has over 18 Years in Public Practice and is skilled in every aspect of Tax Preparation together with vast Accounting and Financial experience. Jason also has extensive experience with Non Profit organisations and is always available for advice.  

Steve Cohen


Steve has been in Public Practice since 2002 coming from a Banking and Management Accountant Background with large organisations. He has extensive experience and training in larger accounting firms before going off and starting his own business in 2011. He Studied at UNE and is a member of the Institute of Public Accountants. He enjoys working with people and their businesses and that was the driving force in moving from larger accounting firms. He specialises in Cash Flow management, Superannuation, Tax Planning and Asset Management.
